This review paper provides a comprehensive overview of shared mobility and its implications for urban transport. Shared mobility, defined as short-term access to shared vehicles, has potential benefits for reducing traffic congestion and pollution in cities. However, shared modes alone may not fully address transportation challenges in large cities. Findings suggest that shared mobility, integrated with other sustainable transport policies, could improve urban quality of life and efficiency.
